Step 1

KEEP the space heater away from flammable materials. Space heaters should be kept at least 3 feet from clothing, bedding, draperies, furniture, paper, etc.

DO not leave the space heater unattended. When you leave the room or before you go to sleep turn the space heater off and unplug it.

NEVER use an extension cord. Also, make sure the cord that comes with the space heater is not frayed, broken or damaged. If so, do not plug it in.

KEEP space heaters away from flammable liquids such as gasoline and kerosene.

Do not leave children or pets around the space heater unattended.
