Is baked ziti something that you always wanted to make but just didn't know how to? Well here's a quick guide to show you how to make a great baked ziti dish.

Let's get started..........

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 lb Dry Ziti Pasta
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 6oz. Provolone Cheese sliced
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • 1 1/2 cups Sour Cream
  • 2 tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Jars Spaghetti Sauce (26oz)
  • 9x13 inch baking dish
  1. Step 1

Boil a lorge pot of lightly salted water. Add pasta and cook for about 8 minutes, then drain.

  2. Step 2

Locate a skillet and over medium heat, cook ground beef and brown onion.

  3. Step 3

Add spaghetti sauce and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.

  4. Step 4

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). While the oven is heating up, grab a 9x13 inch pan (approx 2 1/2 inches deep) or baking dish and butter it up.

  5. Step 5

Now it's time to layer. When you layer, try to make sure to spread it out evenly. First layer should be about 1/2 of the ziti you have, then Provolone Cheese, then Sour Cream, then 1/2 sauce mixture, remaining pasta, mozzarella cheese, remaining sauce mixture and then top it all off with Parmesan Cheese.

  6. Step 6

Bake for approximately 30 minutes. Take out and serve.
