How to Make Kid's Yogurt Recipes
When your children come home from school, they may be hungry for a snack. You may be looking for something healthy to give them. You also don't want something that is too filling because then your child won't want to eat dinner. Yogurt is the perfect solution. It can even be made to suit children who have allergies. Things You'll Need
- 8 cups of either whole milk, coconut milk, soy milk, or rice milk
- 1/4 tsp. probiotics
- 1 crock pot
- 1 towel
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup of strawberries
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 blender

Choose your milk. If your child has lactose intolerance, you will want to use a soy based milk. If your child has an allergy to soy, you could use a coconut or a rice based milk.

Pour the milk of your choice in to a crock pot. Set it on low and cook it for two and a half hours. When the time is up you can turn the crock pot off for the next three hours.

Remove two cups of milk from the crock pot and stir in your probiotics. Probiotics are the healthy bacteria found in yogurt. Once the probiotics are thoroughly mixed in the milk, you can return the milk to the crock pot.

Set a towel over the top of the crock pot and place it on a counter for the night. In the morning you will have a fresh batch of yogurt.

Flavor your yogurt by blending a banana and strawberries in a blender. Stir in to the yogurt. Make sure you refrigerate any leftovers.

Make a smoothie out of your strawberry banana yogurt by adding one cup of milk to two cups of your homemade yogurt. Blend until smooth and enjoy.

Freeze some of your strawberry banana yogurt to make some frozen yogurt.

Tips & Warnings
Switch up the banana and strawberries for another one of your favorite fruits. Blueberries and raspberries both taste great in yogurt.
Your yogurt may not be as thick as you are used to. If you want a thicker yogurt you can add a quarter cup of tapioca starch to thicken it up.
