Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Printer
  • Paper
  • Adobe Photoshop (optional)
  • Digital photos (optional)
  1. Step 1

Get on your computer and go to the Web site http://www.free-printable-calendars.com.

  2. Step 2

Choose the year of calendar you'd like to create from the menu on the left-hand side. Choose the style of calendar from the designs shown on the screen.

  3. Step 3

Click on the design you'd like to choose for your calendar. Click on the first month you'd like to download in PDF format.

  4. Step 4

Print the calendar page by clicking on the printer icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Or, personalize your calendar with a photo or special dates as described below.

  5. Step 5

Click "ctrl + alt + PrtScn" on your keyboard to copy a screen-shot.

  6. Step 6

Open Adobe Photoshop and click "File --New" to open a new canvas. Click "OK" when the box comes up. Paste your screen-shot onto the canvas in Photoshop. The screenshot should fit perfectly. Click on the "crop" tool on the left-hand side of the screen and crop your image so that only the calendar page is showing.

  7. Step 7

Click on the "select" tool from the left-hand menu and select the entire calendar page. Right click on the mouse and click "copy" to copy the image.

  8. Step 8

Click "File --> New." Select "inches" for height and width in the box that pops up. Enter "11" for width and "17" for height. Click "OK."

  9. Step 9

Paste the calendar page into the new canvas by right-clicking on the canvas and selecting "paste." Click "Ctrl --> T" to resize the image to fit the perimeters of the bottom half of the canvas. This will be the bottom portion of your calendar.

  10. Step 10

Click "File --> Open" to open a digital image from your computer that you'd like to use for the top half of the calendar page. Once the image pops up in Photoshop, minimize both canvases and drag the new image with your mouse into the calendar canvas. Click "Ctrl --> T" to resize the image to fit the perimeters of the top half of the canvas.

  11. Step 11

Click the "T" (Text) icon on the left menu and click anywhere on the calendar to add special dates and information to your calendar. Use the text bar at the top to change font color and style to your liking.

  12. Step 12

Click "File --> Print" to print your calendar page.

  13. Step 13

Repeat steps 3 through 12 for as many calendar months as you'd like.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add a background color for your calendar by using the "paint bucket" icon in Photoshop. Leave an inch gap in between photo and calendar images for folding purposes.
