How to Kill Bed Bugs With Products
Bed bugs are small insects that infest dark enclosed areas, most notably the underside of your bed and mattress. These bugs reproduce quickly, so if you do not take care of the problem soon, you may quickly have a severe infestation of bed bugs. Remove everything from the bed and infested area and throw them in your washing machine. Turn the heat up to high and let it run for several cycles. Once completed, place them in the dryer and put the dryer on high heat also. The increased temperature is going to be more effective killing the bugs than cooler temperatures.

Vacuum the mattress and suck up all the bugs you can. Empty the vacuum out once you are done and take the trash outside. Do not let the vacuum sit with the bed bugs still inside because they may find a way out.

Purchase contact insecticide that specifically lists bed bugs as something it kills. Pesticides that don't list bed bugs are not as effective at killing them. Keep all pets and children out of the room while you are spraying. These kinds of sprays kill on contact, however bed bugs have been known to develop repelling agents in their body to fight off the insecticide.

Use IGR insecticides in the infested area. These are insect growth regulators. These do not kill the adults, but rather the eggs and bed bugs that just hatched. Without being able to reproduce, the bed bugs eventually die out.

Contact a professional pest control specialist if you are unable to rid your home of bed bugs. These professionals have access to more powerful insecticides which kill the bugs more quickly and in a more effective manner.
