Contact AT&T and ask for the network control key for your Blackjack II. If you purchased this phone without an AT&T contract, contact a cell phone unlocking service, instead. These services cost about $20, as of 2009, to acquire the control key for your phone, but you cannot hack the Blackjack II without it.

Turn off your phone and remove the SIM card from the Blackjack II.

Turn the phone back on with the SIM card removed and enter the following code: #7465625*638*

Enter your network control key.

Press the "OK" soft key. This is not the "Send" button or the "OK" button on your Blackjack II. It is the button that your phone's screen indicates as "OK."

Power off your phone and reinsert your SIM card. Power your phone back on to complete the unlocking, or hacking, process.

Tips & Warnings
Write your Network Control Key down on a sheet of paper. After all, a long string of numbers can be quite hard to remember if you're going by ear.
Your network control key is only good for 10 uses. Keep this in mind when going through the unlocking process for the first time.
