How to Change the Oil in a 50CC Dirt Bike
Taking your 50cc motorcycle to a shop or a dealer for an oil change can be expensive and time consuming considering that with the right tools you can change your motorcycle's oil in the driveway in only a few minutes.
Instructions

-
1
Turn the motorcycle on and allow it to idle for at least 5 minutes. This will circulate the oil and heat it up, allowing for a better flow out of the engine.
-
2
Turn off the motorcycle and set it on its kickstand.
-
-
3
Place an oil pan or bucket beneath the motorcycle's engine.
-
4
Remove the oil release bolt, by using the appropriate wrench. The oil drain plug is attached to the bolt, and the crush washer should come off with the plug. Once the drain plug is loosened, the oil should pour out of the engine and into the bucket, so execute this step with caution.
-
5
Allow oil to drain into the bucket or pan until the flow stops.
-
6
Replace the crush washer on the oil drain plug. Never reuse a crush washer. Replace and tighten the oil drain plug/bolt assembly.
-
7
Sit on the motorcycle to hold it upright and remove the oil filler cap. Add the designated amount of engine oil (which can usually be found in your owner's manual) and replace the cap.
-
8
Run the motorcycle at idle for 5 minutes and check the oil level. Add oil if necessary.
