I want to uninstall Adobe Reader 9. I had already uninstalled it before because I have Adobe Acrobat which is all I need to manage my PDF files. Then I had a problem with Windows and restarted my computer with a setting at a date prior to my uninstalling of Adobe Reader. Windows automatically re-installed Adobe Reader. Now it works fine bu it does not respond to any repair, change, upgrade command, and it does not uninstall. The message I get when I try to do any of the above is: "This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists, and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor..."

I did all these steps, but I get an error message that says, "The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it." I am assuming that this program's source was the Adobe website. When I go there to download Adobe Reader 9, it says that it cannot be installed on my computer. What can I do now? Help! Anyone!
