How to Get Wavy Hair Naturally
Wavy hair is appealing for a party or a night out. Curling with your fingers will give you a more natural wavy look than the curls produced by a curling iron, and will cause less damage to your hair. Set aside plenty of time to allow your hair to air-dry. Leaving the curls in overnight will produce an especially lasting look. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Wash and condition your hair. Hair is easiest to alter when it's wet. If you have naturally straight hair, apply some volumizer to help your hair hold the waves that you will set.
-
2
Twist a small section of wet hair around your finger. Keep twisting all the way down to the roots.
-
-
3
Hold the twisted hair with one hand and squeeze open a pin curl clip with the other.
-
4
Slide the open pin curl clip into the twisted hair, as close to the scalp as possible. Release the clip so that it grips the hair.
-
5
Grasp another section of wet hair and twist and pin it in the same way. Continue twisting and pinning until all hair is set.
-
6
Wait for at least 30 to 40 minutes while the hair dries naturally.
-
7
Remove the pin curl clips one at a time and let the waves fall. Avoid the urge to brush or comb your hair, which could flatten the waves.
-
8
Spritz the hair lightly with hair spray to preserve the look.
