How to Dye Easter Eggs Using Tissue Paper

Dying Easter eggs is a family tradition that many families look forward to every year. Most people go out and buy dye kits that can be messy. If you are looking for a new a creative way to dye your eggs this article will help. You can use tissue paper to die your eggs and give them a stained glass look. This project is so easy that even young children can safely participate.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Bleeding tissue paper
  • Water
  1. Step 1

    Boil as many eggs as you will need.

  2. Step 2

    After eggs have cooled place them in a bowl of cool water.

  3. Step 3

    Cut or tear the tissue paper into one inch pieces. Bleeding tissue paper works best but regular tissue paper will also work.

  4. Step 4

    Remove one egg from the water.

  5. Step 5

    Place tissue paper pieces all over the egg. You may cover the whole egg or choose to just cover parts of the egg.

  6. Step 6

    Allow the egg to dry.

  7. Step 7

    Remove the tissue paper from the egg.
