First you need to figure out where the ants are coming from to get into the house. Along the bottom of doors and
baseboards are a good first choice. You will need a empty spray bottle to put the solution in. Fill the spray bottle with
water. Now add 3 tbsp. liquid soap or 1 tbsp of liquid detergent. You can use a scented liquid soap for a nice scent.
Shake up the mix and spray it directly on the ants or other insects. Don't forget to spray under the refrigerator, stove
        and along the baseboards.

This is much cheaper and safer then buying Raid or Blackflag which contain dangerous chemicals. Another natural
insecticide you can make is peppermint oil and water. Insects can't stand the smell of peppermint. You will need a empty
spray bottle filled with water. Add 2 tsp of peppermint oil and shake up the mixture. Use this spray in areas along the
floor and window sills, don't forget behind appliances. For a more permanent solution make the following. You will need
a small plastic bowl. Mix in 1/2 cup water,1/2 cup honey and other sweet stuff like sugar or corn syrup. Place this outside away from your doors. Set it near your flowers or such. This will draw the ants and insects away from your house and keep them outside.

If you have a large ant nest outside you can use this formula on them. Boil some water and pour it into a bucket. Add 1
cup liquid soap and stir. Pour the hot water on the ant nest. This should eliminate the ants and is environment safe. If
you have bugs on your house plants such as spider mites, aphids try this. Take a empty spray bottle and fill it with
purified water. Add 1 to 2 tsp. of peppermint scented liquid soap shake up and spray the bugs on the plants. Make sure
to spray on the underside of the leaves. Only use this on plants that like water sprayed on them and don't use hand
        dishwashing liquids.
