Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plate
  1. Step 1

In starting this exercise, you will need. A barbell plate. If you are new to working out choose a lighter weight. Preferably a five or ten pound plate.
This workout is meant increase shoulder and back strength as well as your core strength.

  2. Step 2

Keeping the plate straight out in front of you, slowly start to rotate the plate around your head. "You can start out going either direction." I like to time myself when doing this lift, I keep it around 30 sec but if you want to keep it on reps you can do that also.

  3. Step 3

Rotate the plate all the around your head and bring it back in front of you in starting position. This work out can be done by rotating the plate around your head continuously in one direction or you can alternate directions every rep.
