Swin flu, or H1N1, is in the news everyday. It is being called the next epidemic. Unlike the traditional flu, there is currently no vaccine. This does not mean you can't be proactive in help preventing this illness. Follow these steps to prevent the swine flu infection.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, especially after
coughing and sneezing. When you do not have access to soap and water, use
    an alcohol-based hand cleaner/sanitizer.

  2. Step 2

Avoid coming in close contact with sick people. Not knowing the condition of someones health could have severe consequences.

  3. Step 3

Avoid touching your mouth, nose, or eyes. These three are gateways for
germs to enter your body. Carry anti bacterial wipes or spray with you during the peak of the flu season.

  4. Step 4

To help prevent the spreading of the flu, sneeze into your elbow. Not your hands. If you do sneeze, wash your hands immediately. If you believe that you are infected with H1N1, be sure and go to the doctor. You should not work with the public or handle food while infected with any illness.
