How to Make a Banner for Your MySpace Page

Banners are bright and colorful designs used on the Internet for advertisement, educational and entertainment purposes. They include texts and images that are animated to stand out from still images. MySpace is a social network that is one of the dominant users of banners. It allows you to upload them to your profile. Best of all, you can create them easily and for free to share with your MySpace friends.

Instructions

1. Go to a free banner creation website such as stylemyprofile.net and click "MySpace Banner Maker." This brings you to the banner creation wizard.

2. Select the font you want to use for the banner text. You can select from a variety of font styles such as Verdana, Times New Roman, Courier New and more.

3. Type the text you want on your banner. You can type anything you want. Be as creative as possible to make your banner stand out. Select the font size and alignment (left, center or right).

4. Select the background image you want to use. Click "Browse" if you prefer to use your own image. Select the image from the location you have it saved on your computer and click "Open" to load it on the wizard. Click "Upload." The image is automatically uploaded on the banner.

5. Select the text and background color. Include a border if you want. Click "Preview" when you are done customizing your banner.

6. Click "Save changes" when you are satisfied with your creation. A new page opens with the finished banner and the code to copy to your MySpace profile.

7. Select the whole banner code and right-click it. Click "Copy."

8. Log into your MySpace account and click "Edit Profile." Paste the code in any of the categories (e.g., "About me," "Interests").

9. Click "Save changes" and then "View Profile" to see the banner on your MySpace profile.
