How to Get Started in Healthcare Administration

Becoming a health care administrator requires a certain amount of experience, training and education. As the health care field continues to grow, skilled administrators are needed to oversee day-to-day activities in hospitals, medical offices, clinics, nursing homes and other medical facilities. Educational requirements for these positions vary, but typically, health care administrators are expected to complete a master's degree or doctoral degree to compete for higher-paying positions.
