Choose the digital picture you want to use. Make sure it's a clear, bright picture of the subject. If it is a fuzzy, blurry picture, adding digital glitter effects will make it even harder to distinguish the subject.

Select a glitter image generator to use. Choose any site you like, as long as it allows you to customize your own photo. Some sites you may want to use are Glitterfy.com, BlingEasy.com and GlitterPhoto.net.

Use the upload tool on the website to open your picture in the image editor.

Select the glitter effects you want to add to your picture. Click on the different categories of effects and click on the specific effect to see it on your image. Glitterfy limits you to adding an all-over glitter effect, while GlitterPhoto allows you to add glittering text as well as animated glitter over the entire photo. BlingEasy lets you drag and drop glitter effects to specific parts of your image.

Save your photo after you have finished selecting your glitter effects. Most sites will give you the HTML code so that you can display the picture on your MySpace profile or blog. If you want to save a copy to your hard drive, right-click the image, select "Save Image As" and save it to a location on your computer.
