How to Cure My Cat's Ear Mites at Home

Ear mites are small contagious bugs that can put up residence in the ears of your kitten or cat, making life exceptionally uncomfortable. Cats who have ear mites will often scratch excessively around their ears (sometimes to the point of bleeding) or will shake their heads frequently in order to dislodge the bugs. If you notice your feline friends scratching their ears or shaking their heads excessively they probably have ear mites. Getting rid of ear mites is an easy process, and can be done at home without a trip to the vet.
