Tips & Warnings
This method of filing covers most federal tax forms. If you are filing as an individual, the IRS will give you several free software options to use for electronic filing. Free e-filing is available for those making less than $56,000 adjusted gross income for 2008. An option is available for those who want to do their taxes themselves, without the aid of software, but want to file electronically.
