How to Get the MSN Travel Out of the Orbitz Site

Orbitz is one of the most used online travel agencies. With the site you can book anything from your next flight and hotel room to a car rental or a cabin on a cruise liner. Orbitz has an exclusive agreement with MSN Travel, and is available through all MSN sites, such as Hotmail and MSN.com. However, it is possible to take the MSN Travel site information out of the Orbitz travel site.

Instructions

1. Log out of all accounts you have with MSN. This includes your MSN or Hotmail email address, as well as your MSN instant messenger.

2. Clear out the cookies of your Internet browser. This will ensure that you're not directly taken to the MSN/Orbitz web page. Clear out cookies in Firefox by clicking "Tools," followed by "Clear Private Data" and finally select "Cookies" and click "Clear Private Data Now." In Safari, click "Safari" followed by "Preferences," "Show Cookies" and "Remove All." In Internet Explorer click "Internet Options," then select the "General" tab and finally "Delete Files."

3. Type www.orbitz.com into your search bar. This will bring up the Orbitz site, free of the MSN Travel information.
