How to Beat Level 27 on Deer Hunt Challenger

"Deer Hunt Challenge" is a first- and third-person shooter that simulates the hunting experience and is similar to an action-adventure game. There are six hunting locations--Iowa, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon and Texas--with five areas each. The last five levels in Texas are the most difficult, requiring quick reflexes and the right weapon, tools and ammunition. Level 6-2 places you deep in West Texas, which is populated by scrub brush and low pines.

Instructions

1. Find an area in level 6-2 (level 27) that has mostly scrub brushes and no thick clumps of trees that block visibility.

2. Place 10 to 15 corn decoys in a circle around where you will stand. Make sure that they are not too close together.

3. Select the 20-gauge shotgun because it has the highest capacity and you need at least three kills to pass each level. You can select any ammunition you have available, but No. 1 and No. 2 shot have the best range, which helps significantly with the wide open areas in Texas.

4. Watch your screen and listen to the speakers for deers approaching and eating your corn decoys.

5. Use your mouse to aim at each deer's chest and head and fire two to three shots when the reticule is over the target.

6. Repeat step 5 until you have three kills.

Tips & Warnings

• Wait until the deer are eating at your decoys so they are sitting targets. If the deer is moving, give your target a small lead before shooting.
• Be careful not to fire too many rounds on a single target or you will run out before completing the challenge.
