This is a quick guide on how to create a simple and effective Animated GIFs using freely available software that can be easily downloaded from the Internet. The animated GIF movies can be made from icons, cartoons, pics, clip art, and many other sources. This allows you to create free animations. Free Animations allow you to spend your money on other things than graphic design for the basic stuff.

Things You'll Need:

  • Windows based PC
  1. Step 1

    Open your internet browser to your favorite search engine, such as Google.

  2. Step 2

    Search for programs that create animated GIFs, or just search for UnFreez.

  3. Step 3

    Download and install a safe animated GIF compiler software such as UnFreez. Then get together the GIF images you are ready to compile.

  4. Step 4

    Load your pre made GIF images into the software. Set the speed of the animation. Some software is more intuitive than others and some programs offer more or less options.

  5. Step 5

    Once you have compiled your GIF image, open it to make sure that it is set up how you want.

  6. Step 6

    Make any necessary changes and then save the final image. You are now ready to use this for online ads or whatever your intentions are.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember you can load an image more than once to create a delay among the normal pace of the animation.
  • Setting the speed to fast or slow can result in irregular results.
