Step 1
Brush Teeth
Brush your teeth thoroughly before you start any type of whitening procedure. Use a toothpaste that you enjoy. The longer your brush the better for your teeth. If you like the taste of your toothpaste, you are more likely to brush longer. Try to brush for at least two minutes. Use a soft brush so that you do not damage your teeth or gums.

Step 2
Floss Gums
Floss your gums by wrapping the floss around each of your pointer fingers and sliding the floss down the side of each tooth and gently into the gum. Only floss down into each gum once, do not jam the floss down into your gum forcefully. -
Step 3
Scrub
Use your floss to scrub the sides of your teeth. Do not slide the floss down into the gums a second time. It will help to remove plaque and other debris that cause discolored teeth. You can keep to keep your teeth white naturally by keeping them clean. -

Home Remedies
Try a home remedy to whiten teeth naturally. You can brush your teeth with water and baking soda to start. Then mix water and 3% household hydrogen peroxide in equal parts in a glass container. Rinse your mouth out with this combination each evening.
You can easily whiten teeth with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.
Knowing how to whiten teeth at home will help you get the bright smile you have been wanting. Avoid foods that stain teeth such as tea and coffee. Avoid smoking cigarettes. -
Step 5
Over the Counter Products
Try an over the counter teeth whitening product. There are inexpensive whitening toothpastes that work to give your teeth a slightly whiter look. There are also teeth whitening kits that whiten teeth with hydrogen peroxide. The kits can be quite expensive but they do work well. You can notice the difference in your teeth in just a week or less.
You may want to avoid teeth whitening at a dentist which is usually a way to bleach teeth. It can be expensive and painful.
