Things You'll Need:
- Preheated oven to 400° F
- One sweet potato per serving desired
- One (1) tablespoon butter per sweet potato
- One-half (1/2) teaspoon cinnamon
- One half (1/2) teaspoon nutmeg
- Additional butter
- Philadelphia® Honey Nut Cream Cheese
- Flat pan, preferably 3 to 4 inches deep
- Parchment paper
- Foil
- Water
- Knife
- Toothpick

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400° F.

Step 2
Line your flat pan with foil. Next, place a layer of parchment paper on top of the foil.
Add enough water to cover 1/8” of the bottom of the flat baking pan. -
Step 3
Wash sweet potatoes thoroughly, cut off any areas with roots, bruises, or soft spots, pat each dry.

Step 4
Cut slits, approximately four inches (4”) long on opposite sides of the sweet potato, Rub butter over each sweet potato.

Step 5
Place sweet potatoes in the pan with the water. Cover the entire pan with one layer of parchment paper. Place a layer of foil over the parchment paper.

Step 6
Bake the sweet potatoes for approximately 20 minutes.
Turn the potatoes over and cook for another 20 minutes (or until sticking a toothpick easily through the entire sweet potato occurs). -
Step 7
Remove the cooked (until tender) sweet potatoes. Cut them in halves (if you prefer). Add one half (1/2) tablespoon butter (or your desired amount) to each half of the sweet potato.

Add one half tablespoon (1/2) butter (or your desired amount) to each half of the sweet potato.

Step 9
Wait one minute. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg, to taste.

Step 10
Add one-half (1/2) tablespoon (or desired amount) of Philadelphia® Honey Nut Cream Cheese© to each half of the sweet potato and enjoy.
