How to Apply Lip Liner Correctly

Applying lip liner correctly can make all the difference in overall appearance. Just look around at different made up faces. Can't you see the mistakes? People who are trying to obviously draw on lips where they don't belong, uneven lines, lip liner too dark or too light. It's simply just a mess. Follow these steps to apply lip liner the correct way.

1. Simply give the lips a quick going over with a lip balm, if you have trouble with your lip liner looking chalky or clumpy.

2. When putting on the lip liner hold the lips together in a relaxed fashion.

3. Begin on the upper lip, in the center. Make a line towards one corner, then go back to to center,and continue to the other corner.

4. Drop down to the lower lip. Begin in the center, then work your way out. Just like the upper lip.

5. Always make the lines directly on, directly outside or inside the lip line. Don't draw on lips, it looks ridiculous.

6. Use a lip liner that is a perfect match to your lipstick. If you can't find one, use one that is just slightly darker. Get it as close as possible.

7. When you put on your lipstick, don't go outside the lip liner line.
