How to Block an Email on Yahoo

Instructions

1. Open a Web browser and log in to your Yahoo Mail account. Look through the messages in your inbox and find the one that you want to block. Select the sender's email address in the "From" field and click "Ctrl" and "C" to copy the address to your clipboard.

2. Click the "Options" link in the upper right corner of your Yahoo Mail page.

3. Click "Mail Options" from the Options fly-out menu and select "Spam" from the drop-down menu.

4. Click your mouse in the blank input field in the window that appears. Press "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the email address that you copied earlier into the input field.

5. Click the "Add" button. All email from the sender will now be blocked from your Yahoo Mail inbox.

Tips & Warnings

• If you later change your mind and want to remove a blocked sender from your Yahoo Mail blacklist, repeat the above steps and click the "Remove" button.
