How to Reset the iPod Touch
When you have problems with your iPod touch, with either the display or an individual application, the first recommended action is a restart -- turn the device off and back on. If that doesn't solve the issue, reset the device.

Charge the iPod touch before attempting the reset.

Press both the "On/Off Sleep/Wake" button on the top edge of the iPod touch and the "Home" button under the display at the bottom front of the iPod touch simultaneously and hold for at least 10 seconds.

Release the buttons when the Apple logo appears on screen. Do not respond to the "Slide to power off" prompt.

Wait until the Apple logo disappears and the screen is black. Turn the iPod touch back on by pressing and briefly holding the "On/Off" button on the top edge until the iPod is fully up and running again.

Tips & Warnings
If problems persist, restore the iPod touch to its original factory condition using the "Restore" feature in iTunes on your computer.

My Ipod will not charge and is completely dead. It is an Ipod Touch 4 and is just dead and won't respond and I replaced the charger. Any suggestions?

ok do any of u guy know wen u make an email the first time I did that and then it says a message a has been sent to that email were do I look for it I cant find he message!:(

It doesn't seem to really 'reset' the device though...when I turned itback on and I clicked on AppStore, it showed the last app I was looking at............
