How to make Witch Hat Cookies for Halloween

Halloween is coming and what better way to say happy Halloween than to make cookies that look like witch hats! This is ridiculously easy to make and it is a treat that both children and adults are sure to enjoy!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Hershey kisses
• Fudge striped cookies
• Yellow or orange frosting
• Pastry bag
• Small round tip

1. Remove cookies from their container and place them striped side down on a clean flat surface.

2. Unwrap as many kisses as you will need.

3. Fill the pastry bag with frosting. If you prefer you can buy a tube of frosting instead of using a pastry bag.

4. Put a small amount of frosting around the bottom edge of the kiss.

5. Place the kiss over the whole on the cookie. The frosting should make it stick quite well.

6. Take the pastry bag and put a line of frosty around the bottom edge of the kiss where the kiss and the cookie meet. When you get all the way around make a bow shape with the frosting.

7. Allow the frosting to set for about 30 minutes so that it will not slide off the cookie or the kiss.

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure that your frosting isn't too thick. If it is too thick it will be hard to squeeze out of the pastry bag and won't stick properly.
