Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

I have tried just about every brand of instant coffee that you can imagine, and I just don't like them. I have tried instant canned coffee, I have even tried coffee that comes in little tea bags. There is nothing like freshly ground coffee to make a good cup. For this reason, go to the supermarket and look at the coffee beans and different flavors available. I recommend you begin with a simple roast. Take the amount that you want, and grind it in the coffee maker, usually found right next to the coffee beans.

  2. Step 2

Once you get your coffee home, keep it sealed as much as possible. This helps maintain freshness and flavor.

  3. Step 3

Fill your coffee pot with the amount of water that you need, and add the correct amount of coffee to your coffee maker. Wait for the coffee to brew, and enjoy the aroma.

  4. Step 4

Pour yourself a cup of coffee, leaving at least an inch at the top of the mug to add cream.

  5. Step 5

Try to add one teaspoon or one packet of sweetener, and enough cream to fill your coffee mug. The coffee should be a light brown color. Taste it. If you require more sweetener or more milk, you can adjust your java to suit your personal tastes.

Tips & Warnings
  • When you have a guest over for coffee, always ask them how they like their coffee. Some drink it black (without cream), while some like extra sugar.
  • You can use milk or half and half instead of cream in your coffee, to save yourself come calories.
