Keeping your tongue clean is important to dental hygiene and overall health. Your tongue collects bacteria. Small particles collect on your tongue.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tongue Scrapper
  • Spoon
  • Apples
  • Dental Floss
  • Calli Tea
  • Neem leaves
  1. Step 1

    Plastic Tongue Scraper.
    Scrapers for the tongue have a plastic strip with a loop. Hold onto the scraper as you would a pencil. Run the scrapper from back to front.

    Famous yogis use a spoon to run the same motion along their tongue.
    Everyone has a spoon around instead of having to look for tongue scrapers.

    Apples are a natural mouth cleaner.

    Eat an apple.
    Apples are as natural a tongue cleaner you will find. Eating a apple has so many wonderful benefits. Why not carry and apple with you and eat the apple to refresh your mouth.

    Drink Tea.
    Drink Calli Tea or some kind of herbal healthy tea. Drinking water, tea, fluids hydrates your skin and helps with keeping oral health.

    Chew on Neem leaves, parsley, green cardamon, cloves, guava peels and cinnamon gum. Cinnamon gum aids digestion and revitalizes the throat, sore throats, sinus infection, blocked nose, and excess mucos.

    Use baking soda at least once a week on your tongue. Brush and rinse well.
    The baking soda will also help whiten your teeth.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keeping your tongue clean aids in digestion, revitalizes the throat. You will see less sinus infections, sore throats, and excess mucous.
  • Always floss your teeth.
  • Get your teeth cleaned at least every 6 months. Brush your teeth and tongue every morning and evening.
