Clipping and printing coupons is a great way to save money on your grocery bill. But most coupon organizers fall short of actually keeping your coupons easily accessible and organized. Here is a great way to make your own coupon organizer!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Binder
  • baseball card pages
  • page dividers with tabs
  • pen
  • coupons
  1. Step 1

Purchase a 3 ring binder. Any standard size will do, just make sure it's big enough to hold all the coupons you will put in it.

  2. Step 2

Purchase baseball card organizer sheets. These are clear sheets meant to fit into a 3 ring binder. These will generally have 9 sections to a page.

  3. Step 3

Place the baseball card pages in the binder, and seperate them with your page dividers. On each tab, write down a section for your coupons. You might want to split this up the way the grocery stores does, i.e.: One section for baking, one for frozen, one for meats, one for canned goods, one for soups, one for cereal, one for snacks and cookies and so on. You may even want to divide it according to the layout of the store you frequent the most, that way you'll just have to flip through it as you shop!

  4. Step 4

Once you clip your coupons, you may have to fold some of them in half to fit into the pockets. Place the name of the item or picture on the outside instead of the amount off, this way you can identify your coupons immediately.

  5. Step 5

To save pages, you can place multiples of the same coupon in the same pocket!

Tips & Warnings
  • If you find other divider sheets, like the baseball card sheets, and you think you can use them, go for it! Some office supply stores have divider sheets for business cards and the like, those will work as well.
  • Most big chain stores carry the baseball card dividers. They are usually buy the section with the baseball and sports cards.
