Instructions

    • 1

Choose a room in your home that needs extra heat. This might be your bedroom, a basement room or an office. Even if the room has a heating duct, it might be that you do not turn up the heat high enough for that area, or it might be that you do not have the type of heater needed for that area.

    • 2

Clear a space for the heater. It should not touch the wall and should not be near any furniture. The heater needs to stand on its own without touching anything else.

    • 3

If the room is carpeted, and the carpet is a high pile or shag, consider using two or three landscaping bricks, wooden slabs or concrete pieces to set the heater on. This is not always necessary as all heaters sold today are made to not get hot on carpet.

    • 4

Clear the wall outlet closest to the propane heater and make sure that the heater can plug in if needed.

    • 5

Set up the propane heater according to directions. Plug it in if needed, and turn it on.

Tips & Warnings

  • Never leave the heater running while you are sleeping or while no one is in the room. Don't allow children to touch the heater.
