How to Make Buffalo Chicken Soup

  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 medium/large onion
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tsp. powdered garlic
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 15 oz. can condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • Crumbled blue cheese

Instructions

  1. Buffalo Chicken Soup

    • 1

      Put stock pot on stove over medium heat. Add oil and let warm. Meanwhile, chop onion into 1/2-inch pieces. Add chopped onion to oil. Cook for 5 minutes, constantly stirring until onions appear translucent.

      Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Add to stock pot and stir in with onions.

      Let chicken cook for about 1 minute, then add chicken stock. Raise to medium/hgh heat and let stock come to a boil.

      Turn heat to low. Add cheddar cheese soup and stir until well-mixed.

      Stir in garlic and pepper. Then stir in buffalo wing sauce. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

      Spoon into bowls, garnish with blue cheese and serve hot.

Tips & Warnings

  • If soup is too thick, add a little water or extra chicken stock to thin it out.

  • Soup may be spicy, if you are not into hot food, use 1/8 cup buffalo wing sauce instead of 1/4 cup.
