1
Go to a website that offers an online room designing program that allows users to specify their own dimensions for a room instead of offering pre-made templates. AbodeHome.com has a helpful program that allows you to override the templates to create your own.
-
2
Measure the room that you'd like to turn into a game room. If you don't currently have space for a game room, and are just visualizing what it would be like, you can choose any dimension that you'd like to try out for fun.

3
Choose "Other Room" when on the AdobeHome.com website, instead of choosing one of their templates like Living Room or Bedroom. This will give you a form to enter in your own measurements and shape requirements to create a custom game room.
-
4
Choose from the different furnishings and accessories to the left of your room to furnish the room how you'd like. To find accessories that a game room would have, look under "Rugs and Accessories" or "Media Room" found at the bottom of the furnishings list. You can drag and drop things like home theaters and theater style seating, pool tables and magazines to make the game room just like you want it to look.
-
5
Decide what to do with your game room design. You can save it to work on later, or print it out to use as inspiration for when you're ready to design your game room in real life. You could also email the design to a spouse or interior designer to get more help and share your ideas.
