Attach your Garmin c340 to your suction mount to charge the battery in your vehicle. The suction mount has an attached power cord; simply plug the power cord into your car's cigarette lighter power supply or power outlet to charge the battery. The vehicle must be turned on for the battery to charge.

Use Garmin AC adapter number 010-10618-00 to charge your Garmin c340 at home. Connect the adapter to the side of your c340 and connect the other end into a standard wall socket.

Connect your c340 to your computer using the provided USB cable. The battery will receive power from your computer and automatically charge, but you must install the software CD that came with your Garmin c340.
