How to Make Your Own Printed Ribbon Awards

If you're holding a contest, whether for decorating a cake or grooming a dog, you may want to give award ribbons to the top contestants. You'll want the ribbons to look as professional as possible, without taking hours to create. Fortunately, there are several websites that allow you to design your own printed award ribbons.

Instructions

1. Visit one of the websites listed in the References. These sites allow you to create and personalize ribbons.

2. Click the "Custom Ribbons" option on the menu on either site. This takes you to a page of available options, such as imprinted ribbons, full-color ribbons and horizontal/vertical printed ribbons. Select the style you want by clicking "Order."

3. Design your ribbons by selecting the size, fastener, ribbon color and text color you want. You may also be able to choose the font. Each site has a "Ribbon Text" box that allows you to type in the wording you want.

4. Enter the quantities you need and the date you need your order and click "Add to Cart." From here, follow the remaining prompts to complete your order.
