Step 1
You will first need to get a few photos of yourself. Have someone with a digital camera take some headshot and full body shots. Clients will sometimes need photos of you before hiring you for a job. Be sure the photos are clear and of just you against a white wall. Smile to show you are friendly.

Step 2
Write a Promotional Modeling resume. Even if you haven’t worked any promotional modeling jobs, create a resume and listing any jobs that involve customer service or working with people to show the clients you have good interpersonal and communication skills for the job.

Step 3
Register with Promotional Modeling Agencies, Event Staffing Agencies and Modeling agencies who book promo models and talent to start getting notified of promotional modeling jobs in your area. You can find a free list of promotional modeling agencies at All Casting Calls (http://www.allcastingcalls.com). Visit each agency and register with their company to get listed in their promotional talent roster.

Step 4
Start submitting yourself to promotional modeling jobs that get sent to you by these modeling and staffing agencies. Once you submit yourself to promotional jobs and get booked, be sure to follow the client’s directions exactly so that you can get paid and get paid as soon as possible.
