Step 1
Toss in scented bath salts and smelly bubbles. Adding amazing scents to your bubble bath will help to relax your mind and body. Smells such as lavender, vanilla, and cucumber are great relaxing scents that help to create an atmosphere of serenity. Close your eyes and indulge in one of these scented salts. You'll easily be taken away to a place that feels like paradise. Putting scented salts and bubbles in your bath helps to encourage relaxation and promotes healthy well being.

Step 2
Light candles in the bathroom to create an ambience with your bubble bath. Candles help you to relax by creating a calming atmosphere. You could even choose scented candles in the same scents as the bath salts or bubbles you use. This helps to enhance the smells in your relaxing environment. A word of advice, however...don't use to many different scents when taking a calming bubble bath. You may end up with a headache from the combination of varying scents since too much of a good thing isn't always better.
-
Step 3
Play soft music to sooth your mood in the bubble bath. The best bubble baths come when you can relax in the tub to your favorite music. Try playing something classical like Beethoven, or play a love CD if you do not care for classical music. Listening to sounds while in the bubble bath can relax your whole body and ease your mind. Just close your eyes, lay back, and let the tunes of sweet melody take you to another place. Be careful, however, you may find yourself so relaxed that you fall asleep and wake up in a cold bubble bath.

Step 4
Read a book while enjoying a great bubble bath. If you enjoy reading and have a favorite author you love, why not read in the bubble bath? Reading can relax your whole body and take away stresses from your mind. The stories, plots, and characters in books, take you to another world, far away from your own, even if just for a little while. What could be better than reading a good book while enjoying an amazing warm bubble bath. You can even choose to keep the soft music you play on low while you read. If it's classical music, there are no words to disturb your reading while in the bubble bath.
-
Step 5
Use a soft pillow rest to relax your head and neck while in the bubble bath. You can purchase a blow up pillow rest at any department store or Wal-Mart. If you choose not to spend the money on a resting spot for your head, fold up a soft towel and place it under your neck against the back of the bathtub. Taking a soothing bubble bath, while relaxing your head and neck, is a great way to shoo away the stresses of the day. When your whole body is relaxed and supported in the tub, you'll be able to enjoy the best bubble bath ever.
