Are you Russian, Ukrainian or from a different former Soviet Union republic looking for a Russian and/or Ukrainian store in the Twin Cities metropolitan area around Minneapolis and Saint Paul? Or you might simply be interested in the Russian culture, Russian language, or delicious Russian food. This article will give you some hints on finding your perfect Russian store in Minneapolis area, Minnesota.

  1. Step 1

    Locate at least one Russian store or/and Russian restaurant in Minneapolis area. After you located the Russian store / Russian restaurant visit it and see what there is to your liking. Whether you like it right away or not, don't get discouraged. You came there not for Russian food only, but for information on more Russian speaking places and stores in MN.

    Most of Russian stores, churches, Russian cultural centers and schools in Minnesota and all of the Midwest offer a number of newspapers for free, one of them called Russian Midwest, which has a lot of ads for Russian businesses including Russian stores. Minneapolis local Russian newspaper is called Advertising Review and is devoted to Minneapolis and Saint Paul, MN specifically. Study it in detail and visit all various Russian stores until you find the store you like the most. In course of your search you might find some other local Russian businesses in Minnesota.
