  1. Step 1

One of the first signs of suicide is a person that may be down lately that has experienced loss, or loss of income, divorce, drugs abuse etc. These are a few of the signs that leads to suicide. A person that has just experienced a combination of these sign is at a higher risk of suicide.

  2. Step 2

Just bieng a friend and realizing the mood swings in your friends or if they start giving some of thier possesions away this is a big sign of a possible suicide attmept. If you hear your friend say they want to kill themselves dont take it as a joke get them help right away. You may not feel comfortable approaching your friend but anytime your friend mentions the desire to kill themselves dont let them be alone period. Your best help is to get them to a pastor close friend or professional help at a mental hospital.

  3. Step 3

Many people could have saved their friends life if they just hung around and not left them alone. Many people also believe their friend is joking when they mention they want to kill themselves. Dont take any mention of a suicide attempt as a joke. Many people will act normal right before a suicide attempt becuase they have made up their mind and made peace within themselves becuase of the attempt. If your friend opens up listen to their plans the more detailed their plans the more serious they are about suicide. If they have a weapon such as a gun you should take it away from them immediately.
