How to Remove Gorilla Wheel Locks

Gorilla wheel locks are special lug nuts made by Gorilla Auto. You cannot remove Gorilla wheel locks without a special key that should have come with the lug nuts. If you do not have the key, you'll need to order one from Gorilla Auto. Once you have a wheel lock key, removing the lug nuts is simple.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tire wrench
  • Gorilla wheel lock key
  1. Step 1

    Slide the Gorilla lock key into the end of the tire wrench. The socket end of the Gorilla lock key should be facing out. The key can only be oriented one way in the socket of the tire wrench.

  2. Step 2

    Slide the key and tire wrench over the end of the Gorilla lug nut and lock.

  3. Step 3

    Turn the lug nut 30 to 45 degrees counterclockwise with the tire wrench. The wheel lock and lug nut are now unlocked.
