How to Upgrade a Dell C 600 Hard Drive

You can manually upgrade the hard drive on the C 600 with a new drive that has much more storage space. Taking out the old hard drive is a short and simple process that can be completed by almost anyone, no matter how little experience one has with computers.

Tips & Warnings
Make backup copies of any data you need from the old hard drive before upgrading it. You can store any needed files or folders on an external device such as a USB flash drive.
Do not touch the new hard drive before grounding yourself, as you could damage the drive through electrostatic discharge. To ground yourself, briefly grab any metal object connected directly to the floor.
