Make Koolaide Playdough

Playdough is fun for kids to play with and hey for adults too. Instead of spending money on playdough, you can make it with things you have around the house. Read on to see steps on how to make playdough with koolaide and get your kids involved.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • Koolaide and 1/2 cup warm water.
  1. Step 1

Mix all your ingredients together until well mixed. Boil until a thick consistency. Make sure you boil on low heat to it does not burn.

  2. Step 2

Pick a color of koolaide for your playdough. Take about a 1/2 cup of warm water and put half a pack of your koolaide in it and dissolve. Then add to your playdough mixture.

  3. Step 3

Put out onto wax paper and let cool. When cool enough to work with, start playing and have fun. You can make different colors, or even mix flavors of koolaide to get new colors. This is a fun activity for children and they can learn about colors. Store in air tight containers.
