Skin tags, while usually harmless, are nonetheless a nuisance. Here's some tips I learned from several friends that have been very helpful to me in getting rid of all my skin tags.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Cutting - You can easily remove skin tags by snipping them at the base with a pair of sharp scissors or a pair of nail clippers. Make sure to properly sterilize the scissors or clippers by dipping them into rubbing alcohol. You can also use a piece of thread or floss to cut them off.

  2. Step 2

Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda - Make a paste our of apple cider vinegar and baking soda and apply to the skin tag three times a day for several weeks. You can cover the area with a Band-Aid if it becomes difficult to keep the paste on. The skin tag will eventually shrivel up and can be scrubbed off.

  3. Step 3

After employing either procedure, apply the medical cream of your choice to promote healing and prevent any scars from forming.

Tips & Warnings
  • Tool sterilization is a MUST! Also be sure that the tool you're using to cut with is not rusty.
