Step 2
Contact the buyer directly and offer them a reasonable resolution.
-
Step 3
Partial refunds satisfyOffer the unsatisfied buyer a partial refund and allow them to keep the item. This takes the item off of your hands while pleasing the customer.
-
Step 4
If the buyer does not accept this offer, try giving them a refund for the item (not shipping) and have them send the item back at their own expense. I have yet to make this work with anyone, but it's worth a shot.
-
Step 5
If all else fails, offer the buyer a full refund if they ship the item back at their own expense.
-
Step 6
Once a resolution is agreed upon, give the buyer a refund then send them a request to revise feedback. To send a revision request, access the Request Feedback Revision page from the eBay Feedback Forum. Select the item to request feedback revision for and give a brief explanation.
-
Step 7
Block bidder from ebay auctionsBlock the buyer from bidding on any other ebay auctions. To block a bidder, simply add the bidder ID to your blocked bidders list by browsing to the Blocking a bidder / buyer page (link below in resources).
