How to Remove Persistant Lice Nits
Getting rid of nits is an entirely different process than getting rid of head lice. Nits are the eggs of lice. They are dark in color and are very difficult to see before the lice hatch. Head lice will attach the eggs (nits) to the hair shaft, usually at 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch from the scalp, with a very sticky substance that glues the nit to the hair shaft, even nits that have hatched will remain stuck to the hair after repeated shampooing. After the lice egg has hatched, the nits or egg sac will be white and easy to see in order to remove it. Does this Spark an idea?
