on 11/22/2005 In Thailand, it is considered EXTREMELY rude to show someone the bottom of your feet or shoes. Don't put your feet up on anything, lest you inadvertently point the soles of your feet in someone's direction. Don't put Thai money in your shoes because the Royal Family is on the money and it would be considered the same thing as putting your feet on their face. They take this very seriously.
