An English Trifle is a work of art ! It is a stunning centrepiece on any table and disappears in very little time ! It takes a little while to prepare, but is really worth the effort. You can use whatever fruit and jello you prefer. I will give just a sample

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 colours jello,Bird's custard if you can get it, if not vanilla pudding, Swiss roll or sponge fingers, banana, raspberries, brandy, if liked, whipped cream.
  1. Step 1

Make up two separate bowls of jell-o and cool quickly, using ice-cubes instead of all water. Put to one side. Make up two pints of Bird's custard or vanilla pudding and put that to one side, covering with saran wrap touching surface so as not to let a skin form.

  2. Step 2

  3. Step 3
    cream, cream, cream.

    cream, cream, cream.

You can either spread whipped cream over top of dessert or pipe it on Add a feww raspberries as a topping and your're done ! This dessert can be done the day before apart from the whipped cream which makes it very handy.

Tips & Warnings
  • The more decorative the bowl, the better your trifle looks. Keep your eyes open for one so that you will be ready when the time comes.
