How to Decorate Glass Candle Holders

Glass candleholders make beautiful wedding favors, party favors or home decorations. Instead of having plain candleholders, however, you can add a personal touch by decorating them. In a short amount of time, you can transform them into beautiful decorations. You can find inexpensive glass candleholders at an arts and crafts store.

Things You'll Need

• Glass candleholders
• Metallic designed wrapping paper.
• Tiny metallic beads
• Strong glue
• Votive candles
• Metallic fine felt tipped pen (optional)
• Small gift bags (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut out rectangular pieces of metallic designed paper. The pieces should be large enough to wrap completely around your candleholders. Glue the paper onto your glass candleholders and allow it to dry.

2. Glue tiny metallic beads randomly onto the candleholders so that they shimmer from a distance. Allow the beads to dry for at least an hour. Shake the candleholders to make sure that the beads are glued on firmly.

3. Place scented candle votives or tea lights into your decorated candleholders. Choose the candle size based on the size of your candleholders.

4. Use a metallic fine-tipped pen to customize each candleholder with the name of the guest, if you are using the candleholders as party favors. Place each candle in a small gift bag.
