Check your newspaper. You can usually find coupons for groceries in one savings section. While Sunday newspapers tend to have the most coupons, you may find some in a weekday edition or in your local paper.

Join and read coupon discussion forums and other coupon websites. There are many other smaller websites that are very popular and useful to find coupons bargains as they become available. The coupon community forums on these sites are a great resource to learn about the latest coupon deals.

Visit the manufacturer’s website. If you often buy the same food brands, go directly to their websites to find free online coupons for groceries. Some may require a free signup but then you’ll automatically receive their free online coupons by email.

Contact the manufacturer directly for coupons. Especially if you’ve had an issue at any time with a product, save the box for the UPC code, and call the company to explain the issue. Often they’ll offer to send you coupons to replace the product, along with more free coupons.

Sign up for cell phone coupon sites. There are many popular mobile coupon sites cropping up that make it easier to find and use coupons for groceries while you’re on the go, such as Cellfire.com. With these digital coupons, you can pull them up and have them scanned at checkout like regular coupons.

Sign up for your grocery store’s membership card. By using these membership cards while checking out, you’ll be eligible for automatic additional savings at the store, over and above your paper coupons. Then be sure to check your grocery store receipt for more coupons bargains, which may be attached to your receipt.
