Irish Cream is a cream liqueur based on Irish whiskey, coffee, cream, and other ingredients, which can be served on its own or used in mixed drinks or as part of a shot.

I'm sure there are several ways to make Irish Cream but here is one of my absolute favorite holiday recipes for Irish Cream and it comes from my dear Grandma Allie. Gradma Allie used to make this Irish Cream recipe every Christmas while preparing the family meal…she never shared the Irish Cream with anyone, which explains why the roast was always burned…my family has continued the tradition of burned roasts…it tastes just the original.
You don't have to burn your roast but I do suggest that you try the easy Irish Cream recipe.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 1 can eagle milk
  • 1 cup scotch (Gramdma Allie used JW Red but the cheap stuff should work)
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  1. Step 1

In a blender mix eggs and coconut extract for 15 seconds.

  2. Step 2

Add milk, scotch, coffee and chocolate syrup - blend for 15 seconds.

  3. Step 3

Add heavy cream and blend for 30 seconds.

  4. Step 4

    Keep refrigerated. Makes 40 oz.
